Apr 08, 2015· I have a 10 yr old Cub Cadet Gt 2550 with shaft drive and 22 hp Kohler. The engine runs fine (600 hrs) but it has lost power. If it had a belt drive, I would think that the belt was slipping, but it's a shaft drive. I'm afraid it may be a transmission problem (big money!).
